About EKCSRA

Mission

The EKCSRA is devoted to the betterment of soccer officiating in Washington State; especially in the east King County area. Our goal is to assist any (either inside or outside our usual service area) to grow in their pursuit of excellence in the officiating profession. We are an equal opportunity organization, encouraging the young, the minority, the new, the experienced and the retired referee.

It is our goal to assist the local leagues in the development of soccer.

Organization

The EKCSRA is a registered non-profit organization in the State of Washington. The group is managed by a Board of Directors, consisting of individuals elected from among EKCSRA's members. In addition, the EKCSRA Board appoints a Chapter Administrator, who performs the Administrative tasks for the organization on behalf of the Board.

EKCSRA cooperates with and supports the principles of the Washington State Soccer Referee Committee.

We also support the efforts of our peer Referee groups, when possible.

Leagues Served

EKCSRA serves local youth and adult USSF recognized leagues in our general area, as well as multiple tournaments and other locally organized competitions. We provide licensed WOA Referees for the local high school competitions governed by the WIAA. The WSYSA youth associations that have contracted for various levels of EKCSRA service include the Northshore Youth Soccer Association (Bothell & Woodinville areas), The Lake Washington Youth Soccer Association (Kirkland & Redmond areas), The Eastside Youth Soccer Association (Mercer Island, Bellevue, Newcastle and Issaquah areas), and The Snoqualmie Valley Youth Soccer Association (Duvall, Carnation, Fall City, Snoqualmie and North Bend areas).

Several WSSA based adult groups also contract with EKCSRA for Officials to officiate matches they schedule. This includes the Washington State Women's Soccer Association (WSWSA), the Lake Washington Senior Soccer League (LWSSL), the International Co-Wreck Soccer League (ICWSL), and Liga Hispana.

In the high school arena we provide officials for the Kingco conference (varsity, junior varsity and third team programs), local private high schools and middle schools, Northshore district junior highs and Snoqualmie district middle schools.
